On May 15th, New York's most fashionable patrons lined 5th Avenue in honor of the Frick's first Young Fellows Ball at its newly renovated Upper East Side location. Guests celebrated the Collection and raised money for the Frick Art Research Library, which serves students across the five boroughs. Dressed to the nines, the Frick's Young Fellows turned out for a night to remember, sponsored by Bach Mai and Bucherer Fine Jewellery.
The evening's dress code, "Porcelain Garden," was inspired by the latest exhibition at the newly reopened museum. Ukrainian-born artist Vladimir Kanevsky is known for his life-like porcelain flower bouquets. These sculptures are on display, arranged throughout the museum until October. Texan designer Bach Mai was the Honorary Chair and Fashion Chair of the event. Several of his designs adorned guests and co-chairs alike, complementing the floral motif and enhancing the beauty and extravagance of the evening.

Event Co-Chairs were blooming in Bucherer Fine Jewellery
As the official Jewelry sponsor of the event, Bucherer was honored to dress the event co-chair, Misty Copeland, an American ballet dancer and modern icon. As the first African American female principal of the American Ballet Theater, Copeland is an expert in groundbreaking artistry and timeless beauty, lending her immutable shine to the important work of the Frick Art Research Library.Dressed in a purple evening gown designed by fellow co-chair Bach Mai, Copeland accessorized her look with the bold Rock Diamonds Collection. Lola Tung, the young actor who gained acclaim in her starring role in The Summer I Turned Pretty and her Broadway debut in the Tony-winning production Hadestown, co-chaired alongside Copeland and Mai. Her dreamy floral gown was incandescent and attuned with the night's dress code.
