On May 15th, New York's most fashionable patrons lined 5th Avenue in honor of the Frick's first Young Fellows Ball at its newly renovated Upper East Side location. Guests celebrated the Collection and raised money for the Frick Art Research Library, which serves students across the five boroughs. The evening's dress code, "Porcelain Garden," was inspired by the latest exhibition at the newly reopened museum. Ukrainian-born artist Vladimir Kanevsky is known for his life-like porcelain flower bouquets. These sculptures are on display, arranged throughout the museum until October. Texan designer Bach Mai was the Honorary Chair and Fashion Chair of the event. Several of his designs adorned guests and co-chairs alike, complementing the floral motif and enhancing the beauty and extravagance of the evening.
