The Freak ONE, the quintessence of the legendary Freak, is the proud recipient of the Iconic Watch Prize at the Grand Prix of Horology of Geneva. Freak ONE redefines watchmaking with its caliber UN-240 automatic movement and 90-hour power reserve. The flying carrousel movement, featuring a silicon oscillator and DIAMonSIL-treated escapement, rotates to display time. Housed in a 44mm black DLC-coated titanium case with a rose gold 5N bezel, it's paired with a recycled black rubber strap. True to its avant-garde roots, the Freak ONE has NO DIAL, NO HANDS, NO CROWN – just pure movement.

GO WILD WITH OPS

Freak ONE OPS
Ulysse Nardin continues the Freak’s story with the Freak ONE OPS – as in “operations”, a khaki and black watch that conveys an adventurous inspiration. As before, it’s backed by cutting-edge technology developed in Ulysse Nardin’s independent integrated manufacture, only now with a casual look. The Freak ONE OPS is powered by UN-240, a self-winding movement with a 90-hour power reserve. The movement’s flying carousel with its silicon balance wheel and escapement are suspended by a bridge that acts as the minute hand; a second bridge serves as the hour hand.
Freak X OPS
In 2019, Ulysse Nardin broke their own conventions of the unconventional Freak by introducing the Freak X. The story? Still no dial. Still no hands. But this time, it did have a crown. The Freak X now goes undercover as the Freak X OPS – as in, “operations”. Its black DLC titanium case, bezel and crown, khaki green carbon fibre composite flanks and velcro strap convey an adventurous inspiration. Beating away at the watch’s heart is the UN-230 self-winding movement, a marriage of the bulletproof UN-118 and the high-tech UN-250 that gave the Freak Vision its unforgettable look.
